    Information from this site:

    http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:...nk&cd=17&gl=ca

Torpedoboot T18 was part of the 3rd TFlottila after commisioned. It was send to France between September 1942 and mid 1943. From this time, the torpedo boat was used in the torpedo school in the Baltic Sea and was put into active service again at the end of 1944. Searching for an Estonian refugee ship, T18 was sunk by Russian aircraft on 17.09.1944 in the eastern Baltic Sea at 59******176;22'N,24******176;03'E.

Pictures I have of T-18 crew members:

This is a picture of the same sailor - note the greek writing in the bottom corner. This crew member of T-18 was definitely in Greece or on the Greek islands.

the picture is from an old e-bay listing

          Hallo Waldmüller,

He does look a bit Mediterranean, but Maschinenobergefeiter Hans Boschetto does not sound Greek.
