Medal/Picture group identification

Hi there,
I've bought this group at militariaauktion.de.
It was a Oberleutnant Glitz from the Heereskraftfahrpark 616 in Riga and Reval 1941-1943. Can someone tell me more about this person or unit? There are 10 pictures at all.

I haven't a clue about the unit or man, but is that Turkish half moon marked on the back perchance? It appears to be a normal Turkish issue other ranks type-but one never knows.

no, it is a German manufactured star (Steinhauer & Lueck). No mark on reverse.
