Heer tunic, Luftwaffe breast eagle!

I have seen some odd stuff in my time, but look at this photo. It's a Heer soldat with a Luftwaffe eagle on his tunic:

It's currently on ebay as a single, but there are many more from this collection being sold individually as well. It looks like a bunch of Heer training photos. Pretty interesting stuff. It's item #200098742755 for those who want to buy it, or see the other ones.

It appears they are Luftwaffe Field Division soldiers in training and have been furnished with Heer uniforms, helmets and equipment. This is quite normal as they were reformed and fell under the jurisdiction of the Army for training and administration after doing so poorly in Russland. I believe this took place sometime in 1943.
