In another thread on another subforum there has been a lively discussion about the Marinehelferin and her insignia (see this thread: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=204334 )
I have got an original folder from 1943, which are the complete personnel files from the office of the 2nd Admiral der Nordseestation, sub office Personalbuero fuer Marinehelferinnen and would like to show it for info. I have taken a total of 23 pics showing some shots of the folder and its contents...folder pic is below...the file is stuffed full of CV's and course work details ... exam papers, lists of promotions and rejections!! etc...about the Marineoberhelferinnen and Unterfuehrer courses run in 1943. The file comes from a KM or rather a Marineartillerie Leutnant, who must have been the course leader I suspect. The CV's and character briefs for each of the course participants are quite detailed. The ones that were rejected were mostly rejected because they did not show sufficient 'womenly (female) strength and character' Cheers, Torsten.
