I went to a pawn shops today looking for wwII stuff and the guy pulled out a large square tablet with about 30 pages of battle maps. all of battle of the bulge. I said something like corp of engineers at bottom and printed 1945.
it was closeups of bastogne and other ardennes offensive. It was very neat in the sense it had these typed labels that listed who and what and where, it even listed otto skorenzy and his operation, it had the panzer and artillery strikes, stuff like that.
it folds back together with a cover that is similar to mdf but thin like cardboard.
is this worth the 200 bucks he wants? anyone know what it is exactly?
i should have took pics with my camera phone but you know how weird pawn shop guys are. he said he got it from his son in laws grandfather who kept stuff from his division.
