      Hauser

      Hello Auzul,

I've checked all the names in Die RK trager der D. Pz division from C. Felderl and the picture that resembles your man the most is Eduard Hauser.
Here's his picture so you can see what you think of the resemblence.

      Hope it helps,

      Jeroen

        Hi guys,
Our hero is not Eduard Hauser! There is a little similarity…
The list which was made by Denis should be shorted up to Zejdlik, Franz VORMANN, Nikolaus von
        Because:
BEHR, Rudolf had ended their service being a major.
It couldn’t be RUGE GERD cause he was a Hptm. in 07/091943
It is impossible that it is WOLF ALFRED cause was awarded RK only in 15/04/1944.
But it is right only in case RKT is from 23 PzDiv.
        Manuel,
        128 PzJegBtl was armed with Ò – 34!
I’ve known this from major W. Schultz kom 23 PzAA.
Unfortunately he died in 13.02.2003 and can hardly help us,
But I have a book about 23 PzDiv.
        Roman.

          Hi!

The picture is definately not of Nikolaus von Vormann. I have a pic of him and there is absolutely no resemblance.

          Regards,

          VJK

              Hello
Would anybody have a pic of KC winner Zejdlik to share with us ??

Maybe we need to exploit the 25. Pz.Gre.Div. ? Among those listed above, 2 might comply with the criteria :
              Gerhard Ball
              Hugo Roos
Any pics to share with us ?
IMHO, I don't think the soldier comes from the Panzertruppe since he wears a feldgrau overseas cap instead of the black one. I would say he was a Commander of a Pz.Gre.Btl. or Rgt. at first glance.
Hope we'll achieve to ID him.
              Regards
              Denis

                      Hello
This is an interesting new info.
Even if the photo is difficult to read, Ithink we have
                      unreadable rank
                      Josef Krämer
geb. (born) unreadable date of birth

                      Obergefreiter
                      Kurt Ulmer
geb unreadable date of birth (but might be in the 20s)

gefallen (KIA) unreadable date of birth

unreadable mention (unit, patriotic motto....) but I would say : "scribble then 25. I.D. (mot.)" which is the former name of the 25. Pz.Gre.DIv.

I had a look on the Volksbund and was able to found rapidly that a Obgfr. Kurt Ulmer was killed on 19/09/1941 in Melechi. He was born on 26/09/1920. However, I couldn't find any Josef Krämer who would have died on the same date. But there is a Gefreiter Ernst Krämer who died on 19/09/1941 in Krupskoje. He was born on 01/04/1911. It might be interesting to see if both locations are very close or not. I suppose that these places are in Ukraine. Can anybody confirm ?
At least we know that this photo was taken AFTER September 19, 1941 and this place might be in Ukraine.
Hope this helps and that other fellow members might provide new info.
                      Regards
                      Denis

                        Hi guys,
                        It is very interesting mystery!
                        I’m sure that nobody from 23 PzD è 25 PzGrD (25 InfD),
Couldn’t be a RKT in this time!
In my practice was a case, when I couldn’t recognize DK i GT on a photo for a long time, cause in that division wasn’t such a service man in that time. And only when I bought a huge amount of pics, I’ve realized that DK i GT was an officer OKW.
Maybe we have a similar situation?
                        Roman.
