Show us your pictures of very young & old soldiers

Just received this British press photo of a very young German soldier, i guess taken in 1945 (the information paper is missing from the back). Would like to see pictures of the youngest & oldest soldier you have.
    Thanks, Ant.

    8. (M.G.) Komp./Inf.-Rgt. 64

Here's a couple of photos from my collection, both from an album with "8. (M.G.) Komp./Inf.-Rgt. 64" pre-printed on the front cover.

    Best wishes,
    Jason

This next one is an old vet from the Great War. I wonder what happened to him...

I just can't help but look at that soldier and wonder if he is a Heer version of SGT Schultz ("Hogan's Heros")??????

        I'm sorry.....I couldn't help it.

Te one that impressed me most

                Hi Folks,
I like this topic quite a lot and just wanted to share a photo of which I do not own the original neither know where it is stored, but recently I re-discovered on the i-net a photo that I had seen for the first time some 35 years ago in an article. Unless my memory is wrong it was captioned as showing survivors of Stalingrad.
Though I think that the soldiers in the photo are much younger than what they look like the image I think speaks for itself. These guys have seen the hell.
                Cheers,
                Stefan

                  Wow!
Looking into those eyes is scary, it has definately aged them many years very quickly.
                  Keep 'em coming
                  Ant.

They're all in there, the old watching over the young.

                              Hi Mansal,
he was 17 when he volunteered and he faked his Mothers signature of consent. His Father (my Grandfather) died in 1930.
My father had one older brother he was an Oberfeldwebel in the Nachrichtenabteilung 376 and is missing since Dec 42 in Stalingrad.
