    Neat EK 2 doc group

Here's a neat EK 2 document group that I picked up at the recent Napredak (San Jose, CA) show from fellow WAF member Ed Anderson, Jr.

Here is what I take to be a field-made version of the award document for the EK 2. On the back is a pencil notation, "Signed by Eric Dade."

This is the official, standard award doc for the EK.

The awardee also won a Minesweeper badge (which was not included with the group).

And here's another letter, the meaning of which I'm not quite sure. Can anybody help me out?

It's a confirmation letter that he registered his address at the local police department, and there's no current remarks in police records about him.

                  He's "clean".

Nice group George! I like that minesweeper doc.

                      It's by a fairly rare maker, "137"( J. H. Werner of Berlin).

All in all, I'm very happy with it. And Ed gave it to me for a good price! Thanks, Ed!

The abschrift of his EKII is curious. It's not a 'field made' citation, preliminary citation or replacement citation as such but a copy of his formal citation. I wonder if he was required to carry the copy along with his SB.
