Two "original" photos?

I bought these two on eBay and they were listed as original photos. They seem to have come out of a book or something though?

Looks to me like either a stereo photo card cut in half or part of a pre packaged photo set available to the troops as momentos.

Hi Masal,

It's definately one half of a card from the stereo-view (or 'raumbild') album 'Fliegen und Siegen'. Here's an example of a 'whole' card from a different album, 'Der Kampf im Westen'.

Although technically, it is an image printed on photo paper from a negative (not a lithograph), it's not really an original 'private' photo, so to speak.

Interesting in their own right, I find the stereo-view albums (a number of different ones were produced) to be very engaging! If you ever have an opportunity to acquire one, and view the 3-D images first hand, you won't be disappointed!
