Hi Ant, the book is about the dangers of Freemasonry. The SS regarded the freemasons as part of the "Jewish world conspiracy"

              Cheers, Ade.

                        freemasons

The Nazis, and especially Himmler and Mussolini hated/feared the European Freemason Lodges. Believing that these lodges fomented democractizing revolutions ala the French Revolution and the Bolshevik Russian Revolution. Many White Russians(Monarchists/upper-class nobility rightists) fled to Germany and (as the historians say) tried to make sense of what happened by simplifying the Russian Bolshevik Communist Revolution into a "Jewish-Freemason conspiracy: with the Freemasons being for the most part the dupes of the Elders of Zion plot to rule the world." So the refugee White Russians wrote vast tracts on their conspiracy theorys ,and like their fellow Baltic Alfred Rosenberg influenced Hitler and the early German fascists and joined on to the Nazi cause. Himmler took the freemason threat very seriously and had all lodge documents and ritual trappings collected for study and a public display on the evils of the lodges.
