            Hello,

This is a non-official homemade document.
They were made for lots of occasions: from being inside the artic-circle till a congratulations card for a RK.
This example is made just as a reminder that the one that recieved it was present in the winter 42/43 in St Petersburg.
If this one is original all depends on the autograhe on the document if that signature is real the document w'll be also.

            Cheers,
            Peter

                  Homemade can also be print.
This is not an award document.
Or was there an offical medal for being present in the winter infront of St Petersburg 42/43?
And I'am not claiming it is fake. Where did I mention in my repley that it was fake?
And if you know what it is already, what do you want? A valuation to put it on the estand perhaps?

Many years ago I saw it in a book and found it interesting, because I am a big Heeresgruppe Nord fan. Good to see it in a collection of our forum members, thank you for sharing.

Dude, I know peter u doesn't need my help to defend himself, but if you post here, and ask for opinions, you're going to get them. You don't have to like the opinion, but you shouldn't take this kind of attitude.

                      Grow up.

It's Peterburg not St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg was called Leningrad during this period. Please don't be offended.

At least the motif seems to have been made by the famous norwegian drawer CRANNER, by the way also a member of Den norske Legion (Freiw. Legion Norwegen).

The Russian did not like the German sounding name of St-Petersburg, and I guess that it was a good enough reason for the German to use it .
