Come on guys! Share 'em if you got 'em! I will start the thread with Jeff McCulloh's fantastic picture of some RAD fellows, clearly showing a RAD long service medal..

Note how the Rumanian Crusade medal has been "tacked" on to the end of the 1940/41 original 3 piece bar, with the KVK & Ostmedal in the button hole:

Is that Roehm and von Epp next to Goering? That Goering had a lot of medals. He had what the Germans called "Ordensucht". Have you ever noticed that the first badge the young soldiers seem to earn is the Reichs Sports Badge. Then, when you see later pictures of soldiers with all kinds of awards, that DRL badge is still right in there. Regards, Chris B.
