    WB Silber document

    hello guys,
i got this one from peter viking. it's a document for a verwundetenabzeichen in silber, but the weird thing is if you look close at the word wilber, you can still see schwarz underneath it. why is that, can anybody tell me that.

    greetings rik

Well it appears that the clerk made an error and just made a typo correction by replacing Schwarz with Silber.

It could have been an upgrade too. If he'd received the black at the same hospital and a few days later it was deemed that the wound warranted the silver then the quickest would have been to just ammend the same doc.

I notice Pz. is spelt incorrectly but you often see things like that on hospital WB docs.

        Hello Dutchcollector,

I wouldn't worry to much about it.
Probabily just a typewriter spelling mistake that got corrected.
        The document looks ok.

        Cheers,
        Peter
