Dear Christopher.
I'm not sure if I get the meaning right of a "hand printed formal document".But compared with a formal KC of IC doc some others spring to my mind:
- The very first clasp IC docs which had the same style and size as the KC
- at least 1 of the spanish cross with diamonds is handsigned by AH
- promotion docs to high General ranks, fieldmarschall
- isn't the large Schutzwallmedal/Westwall medasl doc to Göring handsigned by AH ?
I suppose more will come up when you explain where you are heading.

HI,
What was the wording on the EK Doc ?
Theoretically a doc worded "In the name of the führer, commander of the Wehrmacht or whatever" could not really be signed by him as such.
It is the argument used for the supposed Hitler presented DKiG or DKiS in the BDOS magazine a few years ago.
The wording of the doc requires the signature of someone presenting the award in his name.
Hitler signed awards usually having "in the name of the German people, I award... and then hitlers scrawl at the bottom.
Any thoughts on that ?
