    wound badge translation

    Can anyone help me out with this woundbadge doc.I cant read or speak german.I hope i dont look to stupid,here goes.

    The obergefreiter Johann Willkomm from 6. company/Grenadier Regiment 174 suffered in the field on July 17th, 1.944 a wound or accident so is condecorated with the Wound Badge in Black, In the field on August 20th, 1.944, Captain and batallion chef.

    It's a standard lettering for a Wound Badge award, tell the number of wounds suffered by the soldier, the dates, the grade awarded and the date of the concesion, usually found signed in hospital of at batallion/regiment level.
