    don't think many would have an address like that today!

    Actually, it might have been one of the most COMMON addresses. After AH came to power, practically every town and city in Germany had an Adolf Hitler platz or Strasse.

        Jon - Not only very unusual, but very impossible today - a lot of the squares, roads, brides a.s.o. were simply renamed after 1933, da hankmeister is absolutely right. many of them renamed "back after 1945 - I have this Photo of the "Friedrich-Ebert-Br******252;cke" here, as it is called today, a few decades ago its name was still....

          Funnily enough there was somehting on the English news not so long ago about a town or village in England having a Hitler Drive or Hitler Way!!
