Hello,

Could anyone help to identify the following Feldpost-Nummer please?

06334

It is from Oktober 1940

The man calls himselve "Arbeitsmann". He receives cigars or cigarettes every 2nd day, because his unit is "Kriegsabteilung" at disposal of the Luftwaffe.

If the unit might be identified also Infos on its location would be very fine.

06334 belonged to RAD abteilung 2/256 in Okt. 1940


i'm afraid that's all i can tell you about this unit but i hope it helps.

Hello Simon,

thank You very much, this helps alot. The Number is from a postcard with a motive of the city of Hanau. Since the unit is at disposal of the Luftwaffe, it is probably engaged in building Flakstellungen in the city or in building at the Fliegerhorst Langendiebach in the Neighbourhood.
