      hello Stefan,

A nice photo and it seems he dedicated this photo to a comrade that was behind barbed wire with him after the war. It is hard to decipher his last name, but his first name seems to be Kurt.
So maybe Kurt Palenka, GR 161 and awarded the DKIG on july 20th 1943?

Once again a very nice photo

      Regards
      Peter

Looks like Kurt Pisewloka. I would guess from the lack of Hoheitsadler on his jacket, and the fact that he's writing from the town of Sarthe\Mulsanne (I believe this is where the 24 Heures du Mans is held), that he's still being held by the French as a POW. Many Germans were held by the French well into 1947 as labourers.

          Hallo Stefan,

          the family name is Przewloka.

The adress in France indikates that he was still held in a French POW Camp

          Dépot de P(risonnier de G(uerre) Nr. 104 = POW Camp no 104 = Kriegsgefangenenlager.
