Wilhelm Mohnke? and unk. KC winner

Hello, I have attached a photo which I belive contains Wilhelm Mohnke and an unknown KC winner. For a number of reasons I would place the photo in late 1941 or early 1942, if this would help identify the KC winner. Is it Mohnke? Who is the KC winner? Any other thoughts on where and when the picture was taken? Thanks

This is most definitely Wilhelm Mohnke taken in 1942,
summer judging from the white tunics.
Sorry, but the RK winner does not look familar.

Nice photograph, pics of Mohnke are not often seen.
He was not very well liked by his men.

        Best,
        Marcus

          Mohnke

Hi Gents can add this severly wouded April 41 during air attack
while serving in Yugoslvia, nearly lost a leg, sent back to Germany
while recovering in Hospital was awarded the DKiG 26/12/41,he
returned to service in Feb 42.
The KC holder was probably wounded as well and was recuperating
at the same time.So you have a better time frame for the photo.

            Thanks

Thanks Harmel, Since, there are a number of white tunics, and Mohnke is standing on his artificial foot, with only a cane for support, I would guess that the picture was taken in late summer of 1941. There shouldn't be too many wounded NCO's with the Knight's Cross this early in the war.

I revised my earlier opinion on Willy Mohnke.
He was extremely tough and feared by the recruits at B.-Lichterfelde, but was a very capable and fearce fighting leader, who where he could led his men from the front.

One of the earliest awards of the DKiG !

              Not to be underestimated.

Very recommendable to read: "Soldiers of the Leibstandarte" written by my friend Thomas Fischer who spent many afternoons at Willy's house.
