    Translation on back of photo / location of this stadium

    Hello

    I have here a photo of a music event in a Berlin stadium
    The photo is dated on the back : 1933
    Is there someone who can translate the text on the back of this photo for me ?
    The tower in the middle of the tribune looks also very familiar to me .
    I will place this photo on the photosite I have whith photos of the german Schellenbaum , but I need to have a good translation of this text ,Thanks

          Hello Gran Sasso and Ian ,thanks for the translation of the text

          Gerdan : I was confused because of the '' umlaut '' I thought that there was no umlaut in the name of Von Hindenburg
          So this is the correct text :
          ''Milit******228;r Grosskonzert im Hindenburg Stadion Berlin ''

            Hi Johann,

            what you saw in Hindenburg was a so called " U - Bogen".

            In the old German writing they had to make a little bow on top of the letter "u" because sometimes you had problems to see the difference between "u" and "n".

            Both letters look very similar in that handwriting.
