    SS Building?

Does anyone recognise this building please? I think it is in Holland.
    Thanks,
    Max.

None of our Dutch contributors care to take a stab at it?

      ...

I may be off base ... but it sure looks like a building in Arnhem where they now have a Market Garden museum.

        The SS-building

It might be the SS Trainingschool for the Dutch black SS (Algemene SS) in Avegoor...(now a hotel)...but I cannot 100% confirm this...

Maybe some of the other Dutch friends can contribute to this thread....

        Best regards,

        Coco

Looks like one of the big houses on Lindell Blvd, just north of Forrest Park in St. Louis...

What makes you think this is the building? It doesn't look like it.

I doubt it....different architecture. I think the question is still unresolved.

I'm sure it's not Avegoor. There is not a road in front off it. It's not Hartenstein (airboren museum) either.

I agree. There must be someone who knows this place, surely?

                            hello Max History,

Always difficult to find the location of an old house or building in Belgium and Holland much was destroyed or altered after the war.
I think most of the forummembers are to young to recognize them.
That is a fact for my region north of Antwerp.
Old postcarts are usally a good sourch of information, but I doubt you gone find your answer on this forum.
                            Succes anyway,

                            Peter
