Does anyone have a photo of the court that made up the trial of the Hitler plot conspiritors that shows the German Army General seated on the right of the head judge (Feisler, I believe)? I think it was Kriebel, but am not sure.

There were in fact two courts.

The Court of honour had Guderian, Gerd von Rundstedt and Wilhelm Keitel on it. They expelled a number of officers suspected of being involved in the plot or simply opposed to the policies of Hitler.

After they were expelled and (no longer under military jurisdiction ) they were then handed over to the People's Court under Roland Freisler most of them were eventually executed.

This reason behind it was to prevent a military court-marshal of the officers involved.

The General who sat at the trials chaired by Freisler was General der Infanterie Hermann Reinecke.

He wrote the 'Reinecke Rules' of Nazi military justice.
