Hitler's car (Canadian war museum )

    Hello,

Here is a short story concerning Hitler's car presently located in the Canadian war museum.
After reading about that same vehicle in a reference book , I wrote a letter to the museum Conservator expressing some concerns on the car . You will find his nice reply letter on my next posts.

SORRY, for the photo scan quality, I did not have a digital camera at the time.

Last page, ( I must add that in his latest German war booty book published in 2003 , T. M. Johnson still refers to the car as " HERMANN GOERING' s personal automobile " on page 348-349.)

        History wins again.

One would be hard pressed to find anything amiss in the CWM as the many History buffs that skulk around the place would be on it very very quickly.

        Cheers

Thanks for posting this info. I've seen the car and, whatever it's attribution, it's certainly worth the visit.

Wow... very cool! Looks like hard core research paid off... again! Kudos to Ludwig Kosche!

I really need to make it up to this museum some day

Thanks for posting the images of that letter.

I agree , but let's not forget that it is a "CANADIAN" war museum , I think that they made a decent effort to show some TR stuff.
You will not find anything to glorify the ennemy ( NO decorations, daggers etc),just the basic military gear .
For more on the CWM , have a look at this active thread by KURSKSS :
