Hi Fellas, I Am Hoping I Could Find Some Help Identifying The Unit Of A Unteroffizier In The Artillery And Possible The Areas Of Operations For This Unit. I Have Both His Soldbuch And Wound Document. He Appeared To Be In The Same Unit From 1940 Til His Wound In 1945.his Unit As It Appears On The Wound Document Was: Heer.art.abt. (mot.) Ii./62 Thank You Very Much For Any Help You Can Give. What's the date of the wound? Do you have a picture of the urkunde and/or soldbuch?

Formed 10.11.1938, peacetime Garrison D******252;sseldorf, later Berg. Gladbach, Wehrkreis VI; 1940 with three Batteries of 10 cm-Kanonen; 25.1.1941 submitted the 5 Battery to form H.Flak-Artillerie-Abteilung 280 and was replaced.

Under: Corps Troops: VI. Armeekorps, 1940 Army Troops: West, south Russia (Don 1.1943, Uman 3.1944), lastly East Prussia (Schlo******223;berg 1.1945)

Replacement unit: 62 Dortmund, Hamm, Wehrkreis VI
