Signed photograph of Horst Tietzen, 5/JG51

Hello everyone,
I would like to share with you a small original private photograph of Battle of Britain ace Horst 'Jakob' Tietzen that has been signed 'Tietzen' by him. It is only about 2'' by 3'' but is of fine quality. I would think that it is pretty rare as he was awarded the RK postumously in August 1940and that is when pilots started signing photo's on a regular basis. Has anyone seen a signed Tietzen photograph before? I may be looking to sell my photograph collection and was wondering if anyone had any idea on its value?

Andy,he was shot down over the Thames Estuary on August 18 1940 by Hurricanes of 501 squadron along with his wingman Hans-Otto Lessing.The Hurricanes were flown by Polish pilots Stefan Witorzenc and Pawel Zenker.
At the time he was fourth highest-scoring German Pilot with 27 victories over Spain and 20 more during WW2.
Because he was killed early in the war iwould imagine it is a very rare signed photograph.Sorry but i cannot help you with value.

Andy,no problem.The info. came from the book "The Hardest Day,18 August 1940" by Alfred Price.Good reading for anyone interesed in "The Battle of Britain".
