3 red flags for me are:

The last 'S' in the title......the stroke 'S' shouldn't appear at the end of a word;

The laboured signature; and

The 'OKW' stamp. This should be a unit stamp or a feldpost stamp.

There's that god awful OKW stamp again.

A company commander is too low an authority to be issuing this anyway, it should be regimental or divisional commander, also that should be the 3 stufe not 'gold stufe'


A genuine one of these would be incredibly rare. The only one that springs to my mind (for a gold badge that is) is the field typed one as shown in the German language version of Sepp Allerberger's book.

Hi,
an other red flag:

there is written "würde" .. verliehen - but it must be writte "wurde" - without the two dots.

"würde" is subjunctive (in German Konjunktiv).
