Here comes another one. The thing on his shoulder boards - does it indicate that he is a doctor?

He writes Norwegian

The thing that make this person very interesting is that he writes letters to my whifes grand aunt in Norwegian. I have over 20 letters from him to her. If I understand the diary correct is he killed some time in 1944. Or at least he dies.

So this person need to be investigated some more.

No - I havn't. And to be honest I don't know how to do it either. Have never had any reason to contact them, so I have never learnd how to do it.

why not give all the details on him you have, there maybe more information on him beside Volksbund like medals, promotions etc.

Trying hard to find his last name. The letters are only signed with Willi.

Will go through the diaries and see if it's written there. The only thing I know for sure is that he was killed in 1944, and it's most probably on the eastern front somewhere, since the rest of the photos where he appear is taken there.

Out of the ribbon bars he wear he can't be Norwegian. Looks like he is a german who know how to write Norwegian, and that's a bit strange.
