Is this a RK holder or?

I received this photo in a lot the other day. At first I thought this was just a soldier playing with his recently awarded ek2 but since this is a profiessonally taken studio postcard size portrait photo then I was wondering if this might be a KC holder wich maybe had this ek2 temporarily for the photo shoot. What do you guys think, does anyone recognise him or is it just a regular soldier playing with his newly awarded ek2?

Correction. I have been looking more carefully at the photo, It sure looks like there is a Rk loop on the Cross, I dont why I thought this was a ek2. Does anyone recognise this RK holder? Your thoughts appreciated
