Hi Todd, interesting photo, as the ambulance is a British Austin K2. Any idea where was the photo taken? It could be a Dunkirk capture, but we might have supplied some as "Lend - Lease" to Russia.

                    Cheers, Ade.

                      2./Sanitäts-Kompanie 263

Thought I could contribute some photos to this thread. Following are a series of photos from an album belonging to a member of 2./Sanitäts-Kompanie 263 (263. Infanterie-Division).

                      Best wishes,
                      Jason

First up, we have a column of the company's medical vehicles on the advance during Barbarossa, July or August 1941.

The company's medical officers try to warm up around a fire, probably October 1941.

One of the company's trucks gets a new engine, winter 1941-42.

This final one may be a bit of a stretch as a "medical vehicle"... but it's a vehicle and it belongs to a medical company! Was it unusual for a medical company to have a motorcycle? I thought there was not enough of them to fill demand. Anyway, here's the photo...

One more from this same album... I wasn't sure this vehicle belonged to the medical company, but I saw the same tactical symbol on the first page of this thread. Anyone know what type of vehicle this is?
