Hello Lauriston, its always nice to have some of those Zeitschrift/newspapers. Hard to read the dates: but from the photos yours are from the later war years-The early years were much more SS ideological, then as the war came and ground on-the newspaper focused more on a generic patriotism/combat story format. I would post some of my own, but I dont think my membership dues have kicked in yet to let me. by the way, I just acquired a early metal tobacco tin box with "Das Schwarze Korps" imprinted on it.

I have a bound year (1938) of the magazine. I don't know how many bound years survived the war and have always kept it. Unfortunately the paper is yellowed and is fragil.

I framed a few when I found a pile in Prague, then use the microfilmed complete set at NARS for research.

Hello Lauristan, sorry I was away for awhile. As for photos -unless i am very mistaken, I am not allowed to post pictures. I lately paid my union dues here but as it was through the mail --it will take awhile to be officially processed. The odd thing about this box is the lettering...""Schwarzes Corps." Notice the "C" instead of "K" in Corps.also the depiction has a early style non visor hat with the artist taking liberties in the depiction of the T.K.
If any one can explain where I can find the info (rules,etc)needed to post my own photos, I would appreciate being told where.

bound volume Schwarze Korps

Hello Mr. Weinand, a bound 38 Jahrs volume would be the apple of my eye!
I have about 4 bound volumes of the more esoteric Ahnenerbe publication "Germanien." But these are certainly less hard to find as they were not as obviously dangerous to have around the house after '45 since they dont show off SS runes on the covers-if you know what I mean.

Hallo Lauristan, Sorry I have been gone for a while with work. Yes, that is the box I was talking about. They seem to be appearing out of the no where all of a sudden--hope that does not mean they are fakes. Still cant figure out how to get my photos up on this site- Some day I will. Cheers, Michael Fay
