Young boy in the Heer!

I thought ya'll might like to see this young boy in the Heer, i noticed that on his pocket he has loops, does anyone know what might have gone in these loops? I am guessing he is 13-14 years old.
Any opinions on this photo? Thanks Allot!!!

I'm guessing the loop on the pocket was for either a sports badge or a HJ badge

West wall I suppose - I don't think it would be a EK. Its a Interesting photo - I think he may be 15-16 by 1940's looks, but 13-14 to us.

It could just be a 'retread' - reissued uniform.

Your right there Eric, I never thought of that - That would also explain the lack of awards being worn!

Normally such loops would have been cut off... if only to make it a LITTLE less obvious that the tunic most likely had belonged to a dead man!
