Help needed concerning KM photo's

It seems no book can answer my question, therefor i'm trying to find the answer here.

The question concerns the type of sleeve badges used by the kriegsmarine coastal artillery units (those who where in the Flak units) on there blue uniforms (collani, blue shirts) and whites.

I'm asking all to post your photo's with sleeve badges visible and if possible those photo's that you know off were taken of Flak units.

Here is an example of what i'm looking for, altough i can't say for sure that this is a member of a FLak unit

KM Reefer with Flak Gun Chief Speciality Badge

Hi Jasper,

I have a KM reefer for a maat which has the Anti-Aircraft Gun Chief speciality badge (red on blue oval) on the left arm under the rank/trade badge.

The badge shows the round, pineapple like, bomb with flames coming from the top and with wings on either side.

I do not yet know if this is coastal artillery shore based flak, or marine vessel flak.

Do you have any knowledge of this badge?

Hi Jasper,

the sleeve insignia on the photo you posted does look like that of the Coastal Artillery.It looks very similar to the insignia worn on the shoulder boards of the grey uniform.
