No resemblance at all. Even when he tries to line up the facial features....they don,t match. God, i,m glad your not a detective. Sorry, but these are no more historical items than the famous Hitler moustache, sold on ebay.

theres just no reasoning with the guy.
Poor guy probably lost a fortune with alll that baloney.
One thing that they did not pick up was the width of the noses. Being a physician I know that no matter how skinny you are, you do NOT lose your nose size. hahaha. Youll lose facial fat but not the size of the nose. Like I said, DENIAL.

I am no expert but looking at the family pic in the background there is a woman on the baconey who is wearing Tradional dress. To me it looks more Swiss than Austrian as to the buildings and farm equiptment etc in the pic.


One can try the
Swiss Association for Traditional Costumes I bet they can identify where this phot was take in about 2mins.

Unfortunetly my german is very poor so I am not able to get much out of the site.

I think the "seller" is playing a practical joke at the expense of serious researchers.
Here is a message I sent him:
