Hi All,

I'm bored this evening...was just looking through some of my photos so I thought I'd post some scans of a couple interesting ones.

SS-VT I.SS."Deutschland" at the Spanish border.

Closeup...it appears that some of the SS men are not wearing collar tabs...any significance to that?

Hi Tim, thanks for sharing these pics with us. The lack of collar tabs is quite usual to see in this timeframe. The SS-VT Division removed their collar tabs for the French Campaign.

Thanks for the information, Ade. Here's a photo from 1940, also depicting the lack of collar tabs. Was this done as some sort of security measure?
