As i mentioned in your Kneipe thread i think there are far more of these unit or traditions badges than is generally realised or been recorded in text books. Not just for divisions of the Heer of course but all branches of the armed forces.
About the pin itself though (i'm talking generally here, not about this particular one) collectors must be aware that veterans associations made things like this post-war so care should be taken.Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.Comment
