Does Anyone know who this general is? This photo was taken on June the 8th 1942 in Russia, the back of the photo says "The Meeting of the General and the Oberst" Thanks ALLOT!!!

Oh wait a sec I thought that was the General in the first photo but that is a Oberst. mmmmm
but yes the Oberst is wearing the Oldenburg Cross 1st class.

OK, here is some info on KARL DECKER
Decker, General of Panzer Troops Karl (1897-1945):
41-43: Commanding Officer 3rd Panzer Regiment
43 : Commanding Officer 21st Panzer Brigade
43-44: General Officer Commanding 5th Panzer Division
44-45: General Officer Commanding XXIX Panzer Corps
45 : Suicide
so it cant be Decker cause the sign says Infantry not panzer
And we can mark out CARL BECKER he killed himself in 1940 and this photo was taken in 1942 but iam not sure if this is the right general cause you spellt his first name Carl and this one is Karl
