    Luft winter clothing

Does anyone have photos that they can post of Luftwaffe winter garments being worn, especially the quilted type? Thanks

You might want to do a search of this or the FJ forum because I know that I for one have posted some photos of LWFD and Fallschirmjaegers wearing the padded/quilted type of winter garments. I'm sure others have done so as well.

Thanks, I checked out the FJ section. I'm looking for a picture of the grey quilted parka in the retangle pattern like the type in this box art from a new LWFD model from Dragon. I own one of these parkas and so far this is the only picture I've seen of one.

Not a photo of one in wear, (but I know I have seen one on the forum too) but here is one out of a members collection which might be of interest?

          Thanks Ade,
I did see this diamond pattern one (very nice I might add), but I'm looking for the greyish blue rectangle pattern type.

Here is one from my collection. I do not think I have seen the rectangle pattern parkas in more than one or two photographs. This is the only image that I have in my collection, although I have many photos of the other parka types.

Great photo - thanks for sharing. Photos of this type of parka seem to be pretty elusive.

Hi Fallschirmjaeger. Yes, the photo is most likely from one of the field divisions and is definitely not from a Fallschirmjäger or Hermann Göring unit. The photo is from Russia.

According to the description on the back of this press photo, this image shows a bunch of Paratroopers getting ready for an assault.

You are correct on both accounts- the image is dated 19.2.44 and taken near Kirowograd.

Here is one more winter image. This one is dated 16.2.43 somewhere in Russia. I'll post a scan of the back.
