I collect everything about Veritable, and I also have some original press photo's, but those are all British, but one has a German sniper on it. If you want to see it, let me know.

Yes, that book is called ''Battle of the Reichswald'' by Peter Elstob, I have that book, very good literature.

Here's the picture. I also have some death notices from Veritable, if you want to see those, i can scan them for you.

        Greetings Edgar

Indeed, I probably think he was just taken prisoner, because the Commonwealth troops were not so bad for their prisoners (I believe..?).
This afternoon I will make a seperate topic of my Reichswald-Kleve pictures, if you want to see it.

                            Reichswald Forest Pictures Etc..?

Luftwaffe44 hello i meant to ask this earlier, you must have been to these old battle area's of the reichswald, hochwald etc..right?,and was wondering if had any pictures of the forest's like in modern times,i saw in a book recently maybe one of them osprey ones?,but showed a picture of the forests i think around 2000,54 years after and they still looked the same too pretty much.
Like i thought the woods would be gone now or smaller,do you know if they are maybe, like have you got pictures of the battle area's today at all,as you say operation vertiable is your favourite right. And another thing i always wanted to know,if you know did the forests actualy get there name when, pre hitler's reich or not,and i thought maybe are the woods actualy called that still even at all?,like if they where pre hitler i suppose they would be still called that?,thanks for any info at all on these questions.

                              Hi,
Here are some photo's of Reichswald in 2005.
I have some more photo's, but I will search for them, can't find them right now. The name Reichswald was given to the forest in 1543.

                              Greetings, Edgar
