Hausser EK verleihung

hello my fellow collectors,

Among the photos I received today were these two that I believe to be
Hauser awarding EK's in Russia. The reason I think it is Hauser is because of the eye patch. On the back of the photos it merely says "EK verleihung".

Hi Peter,nice post as usual
I know Hausser had an eye injury,not sure
but I think during Kharkov Battles but I do not
think it is him as he had sharper features.it is
a bit diff to make out the rank SS Oberf or SS Bdf?

I also don't now who he is, but I think the pictures are very nice. The second soldier from the left on pic2 reading his document is very cool.

Thanks for the compliments and yes i am also very pleased with these pics. Used a magnifying glass to look at the collar insignia but it is still hard to say what his actual rank is. My guess would be that it is an Obf.
