Signature question

I have a question concerning an award document for the EK2 to a member of I.R. 376. It is dated 24.07.1942 and signed by Gen.Maj. Edgar Röhricht.
Now, as far as I know, the I.R. 376 belonged to I.D. 225, which was at that time commanded by Gen.Lt. Hans von Basse.
Any suggestions about Röhrichts´signature ? (Unfortunately I can´t post any pictures at the moment!)

Perhaps the unit was subordinated to a major one commanded by this general and he awarded medals to its members for actions under his command, it's not an uncommon thing, I have a citation for the IAB to an unteroffizier and a letter send to his father asking him to told his son that he was awarded such medal as was imposible to contact him and his current unit. Look what unit was this general in command at that time and if the current unit of the soldier could be attached to it.
