Hello Gentlemen,
As I am thinning out my DAK collection, the last to go is my Walter K. Nehring book. I am unaware of a fair value to ask for it on e-stand (because I managed to get a hold of it in a swap), therefore I am presenting it to you in order to express an opinion about its value.
The book is called “War in the Desert” by Neil Orpen, it is personally dedicated by the author to Gen. Walter K. Nehring. The general himself signed the book, and used it to perform its own research on the desert war. The book is jam-packed with personal annotations made by Nehring, comments, he even took his time to alter same maps of the battles. Also, inside the book there is a slip of paper with the General’s home address in Dusseldorf, so therefore I do believe that the book belonged to the man himself.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves, and I thank you in advance for your opinions.
Enjoy an excellent evening,
Al
