Would anyone have any information on Ogfr Wilhem Ewert of 1 Kompanie Panzer-Pionier Batalion 40? I know he was serving near Stalingrad until Dec 42. Also does anyone know if this unit were in the Kessel or involved in operation Blau? Any help would be great, thankyou very much.
