    LW Flak Vehicle Insignia...

This photo is from a large LW Flak photo group. This is the only vehicle which has all 4 insignia on it. Most of the vehicles have the deer insignia and sometimes the deer and the "K." There is another photo of a command car with all four insignia.

There is a FP letter in the group with the FP number of Flak Rgt 25. This would possibly explain the "K" as Flak Rgt 25 was attached to Panzergruppe 1.

Any clues what units these insignia represent?
    Thanks,

    Rick

K looks like a 1st Panzergruppe mark to me.

for von Kleist. Isn't the oakleaf 1st panzer div? Hah. "1st of the 1st" is this is correct.

...wait. The oakleaf was changed to a rune in '41...

      A beautiful set of insignias! I love'em!

      Yes, (I./)Flak-Regiment 25 was subordinated to Panzergruppe 1 "<b>K</b>".

I am pretty sure that <b>the deer sign</b> is for I./Flak-Regiment 25 (not reported in Schmitz/Thies but a typical Flak-Abteilung insignia).

Also <b>an oak lef in shield</b> is most probably for Koluft Pz.Gruppe 1 (also often seen with Regiment G.G.).

So what's left... The shield. Flak-Regiment 25? Absolutely no idea.

Yes, aren't they great? all grouped together in a nice clear photo. No need to scan at 1200 dpi and look with a magnifying glass, for a change! Someone was thinking of us 60 years ago

        Thanks for the info!
