      Well, I recently received a group of three Luft FD photos. They are from the same group that were posted by Batfink - above! This one is not shown and was with copies of posts #10 and #12!

        Thanks for those pictures batfink9 or posting them,there great never seen them before too,making copies is fine right?,as not here from the start i have missed many pictures i want to see,i need to go through lots of forums to do that and that takes awhile too,so thanks this helps a little.

              Does anyone have a saved copy of that picture of the KIA herman Goering soldier from the italian front. The picture was of the KIA soldier slumped around a post and some barbed wire with all his equipment and rifle - a muddy embankment I recall. His cuff title very prominent in that picture.
              As well if anyone remembers this pic - any history/details on it ?.

                Do you mean this one? Picture caption reads:
                "The 'Hermann Goring' formation Cuff-title for NCO's and Men. Here it is worn on the right cuff of a member of the Division 'Hermann Goring' killed in an attempt to infiltrate Allied outpost around the Anzio beachhead, Italy."
                That picture has stuck with me also.
