SS pics - "originals" or "fakes" ?!

    Hey guys,

I recently picked up some very nice SS photos from a girl in Germany.
She claimed she had found a cool box in a dumpster and in it she had found these pics and several medals. After I had bought the pics she told me about the medals and sent me some scans of them and they were all originals but before I could buy them also she sold them on a flea market for €75(Ek1,EK2,pab,iab etc)

Anyway, she seems like a honest person and not a scammer.
The pictures are all the type you would call copies I guess.
But my question is, do you think these are copies that are made as fakes or just pictures that have been developed after the war on post war photo paper?
Several of them have Agfa stamps on the backs, and I know the stamp with just Agfa was started being used after the war.
There was also a bunch of feldpost with it and 2 photo bags from a German photo guy, unfortunately they weren dated.

So what would you call these pics?
There are some really really cool pics in this lot so if anyone wants to see more of them just let me know. Several cool RK pics and so.

I am not doing this because I want to get my money back from the seller, I didnt pay so much for them I am just curious what your opinion on them is.

    Cheers,
    David

Pics are all copies, RKT is Kurt Meyer (LSSAH).

The RKT looks like Kurt Meyer.
What is a fake photo? In my opinion a fake photo is where a photo has been altered to appear as something else or where a subject is photographed to appear as something it is not, i.e. someone post-war dressing up as an SS officer and being photographed. These are not fake, just repros.
            Max.

Yeah repros are the best word I guess.
So these images are known since earlier then I take it?

I have seen the Meyer/Dietrich photo and the heavy machine gun photo before.

In the first post, middle picture- officer is Fritz Rentrop.

Thanks for putting some names to the faces !

I should be ashamed for not recognizing Meyer !
At least I saw it was Sepp.

There were some more RK pics in the lot as well, would really appreciate if anyone could identify those as well !

                      Cheers,
                      Dave

The officer wearing a coat and helmet in the other photo of post # 11 is Otto Weidinger.
