I have been receiving some request to picture the grouping this photo album came in. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures when I first received it. I have sold most of the headgear and some of the insignia. Here is what is left.

Small caption on this one but it may look familiar to someone.

That's San Sebastian Church in Reinosa. I have been there.

                Cheers

                    Joe,
Are these armbands genuine? I never dared to buy one

Thanks again for the scans, Joe. The last one, Reinosa, taken by the "4ª Brigada de Navarra" on 16 August 1937, may be a postcard bought by him, since it shows snow on the roofs...
The photocaption related to the bombing of Torrelavega, happened on 24 August, says "Bahnhof u. Strassenkreuz ostl. Torrelavega". The Republican army was withdrawing, overwhelmed by Franco´s army. Together with the German airplanes, some Spanish Ju 52 bombed the road from Torrelavega to San Vicente de la Barquera, used by the Republicans to evacuate their troops to the east (Asturias). In fact, your photo is a great document of this event...
                      Regards. Óscar
