    Negative of Hitler Reviewing RAD

I got this quite a while ago with a grouping of negatives from an RAD troop.
The tiny tissue paper envelope that the negatives fit in has written on it "Frauzburg 1936/38". There is this negative and one other of RAD men with banners, and you can see Hitler off in the distance in this same Mercedes.
If you want to see the others, I will post them!
    Later,
    Karl

    Hi Karl:
Very nice photo and I like the Mercedes which I believe is a Typ 500 model of 1934-1936.

Good luck with Basic Training and thank your stars you are not going to Parris Island.

Don't be mislead by the writing on your negative sleeve. This photo was taken at the Adolf Hilter Platz at N******252;rnberg during a Reichparteitage. You can see Streicher by the bumper of Adi's car. Hierl is there as well taking the colors.

A very nice angle of a familiar scene. I'd love to see the other shots as well. Many thanks for sharing.

        Thanks for the info, Ramon!
Here is a close-up of the Mercedes with contents .
I have scans of the others in my older files. I will back-track a bit and show them to you all!
        Have a good night!
By the way, thanks for the well wishes, Bill! I will be in San Anton, so it will be pretty darned hot, but I will not be a Parris Island!

Here is the other photo from the same parade. It must have been a very bright sun that day because all the guys' metal equipment parts are gleeming. Hitler is further down to the right.
I was astonished when I received these negatives in the mail, as the ebay auction never mentioned any negatives of Hitler! I was, and still am a happy camper!

I found some of the other negative scans from over a year ago! I was astonished I still have them.
            Here they are:
The Photographer/Owner (There is a negative of him in the 1960's sitting at a desk, and all his medals and badges are pinned on a curtain behind him, including a EKII)

Sorry that this negative turned out funky on the scan, but it is Reichsarbeitsfuehrer Hierl on Parade.

Some RAD officers - by shrinking the negatives, the quality definately goes away

Thanks, Mike! I do too. I especially liked them when I was in photography class in High School, and I would bring them in a print them on new photo paper. To know they hadn't been developed since the war was a cool feeling!

                      Wonderful pictures, Karl.

Going back to the original picture at Nürnberg where Hitler is taking in the colors of the RAD, rather than Streicher (who was very short). I think that's Frick. Also of notice, is the fact that Hitler is in his tunic as opposed to his usual Party shirt.

                      Again, a very nice picture.

Very nice scans. Can you advise as to your technique and or equipment that you use to scan negatives?

                        Thank You,
                        Dan

I used my scanner, which has a light the illuminates behind the negative. It works good at times, and sometimes not. I like the outcome of most of these!
Thanks for the interest! Sorry I could not help you more.

Hi , very nice photos, thanks for sharing.

The car is not a Mercedes-Benz 500, but a the Grosser Mercedes W07 with the 7.7 litre engine, Offener Tourenwagen!!
