I know if means something about unique finery but can't get it translated spot on.

Roughly "One time cleaning stipend, in the amount of 10, to the end of 10 Dec 1939 paid."

That is as close as I can get...

It doesn't look correct, however normally a single payment of 5 RM as cleaning allowance....to buy such cleaning materials as boot polish etc.

Out of interest,are the entries on the other page for the issue of soap and shaving soap?

He received a single payment of 5 RM cleaning material allowance. Underneath that 10 RM service pay (Wehrsold).

Mostly on page 21 he did receive washing (facial), washing (clothing) and shaving soap......also front pay at the bottom!
