Dick, you are right, I made a mistake with the name, of course it's Ohmsen he was chef of battery St Marcouf in normandy.

As far as I know, KC postcards mainly depicts U-boot kommandant or crews (particularly for Hoffmann and Film Foto Verlag).
However, photos of these guys are shown in Biblio Verlag book dealing with KC holders of the Surface Fleet (in 2 volumes).

Hi Eric,
Another source for photos of Kriegsmarine personel is the book by Clemens Range, "Die Ritterkreuzträger der Kriegsmarine" published by MotorBuchVerlag. Also, there is a series of Knights Cross postcards devoted to the K.M. I am sorry but I cannot remember who published them. But, each card has a printed signature in white across the obverse of each card. I will get back to you if I can remember who the publisher was.
