      Hi Robert,

This is a great leaflet produced by the British Political Warfare Executive and dropped by the RAF and M Balloon Unit over Germany in July 1943.

More information, including an English translation, is here:

Robert, this is another PWE leaflet from the same time period.
Some details here but I don't have an English translation for it online yet:

Interesting that a RK winner kept the leaflets. Official policy was that any German finding an Allied leaflet was supposed to write across it the word "Fiendpropaganda" ("Enemy Propaganda") and hand it to the authorities. But of course this order was widely disobeyed and they were secretly kept by many Germans.

However harsh penalities and prison terms could be imposed on people passing around the leaflets. In some cases some were sentenced to death. But this severe punishment seems to have been reserved for foreign workers that made use of forged ration coupons dropped by the RAF.

              Lee,

I am quite sure that he disobeyed those orders.( Being a former university student himself)

              Regards,
